This is our Mini-Milker, She's will give us 2 gallons of milk a day after she has her first calf.

J Lo is our back yard cow; she drinks out of the hose or pond and she curls up by the fire pit on cold nights.  As you can see she always wants to take a seat; joining us for our bbq's and fire side chats.

We have highlands who are bred to a mini highland and we'll keep you updated when their babies are born and how big they are!  (see highland cattle post)

Highland Cattle!

We adore our Highland Cattle!  This is Cow-Cow and one of her Triplets!  Yes triplets!  She's the tiniest and her little identical twin unfortunately died.  Her brother is twice her size!

What's goin' on these days! New News!

Our newest venture is to establish a bison herd for production of some of the healthiest meat available.  We acquired 2 babies on St. Patrick's Day from Gus and  in Oroville.  Miss Patty Cake and Admiral.  Admiral will be our meat boy and his 1/2 sister will be our beautiful breeder.  They are adjusting great and munch and roam around comfortably all day.  We plan on putting them to pasture as soon as we're sure they are adjusted to being away from their mom!

Our Newest Additions born March 19, 2010.  TWINS ~ both boys.  I'm voting for the names of T-bone and Tri Tip.  The momma is coming through for us and nursing both of them!
